Prof. Fushuan Wen

IEEE Fellow

Professor Fushuan Wen received the BE and ME degrees from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China, in 1985 and 1988, respectively, and the PhD degree from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 1991, all in electrical engineering. He joined the faculty of Zhejiang University in 1991, and has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information since 1997, and the director of Zhejiang University-Insigma Joint Research Center for Smart Grids since 2010. His research interests include: 1) power economics and electricity markets; 2) power system investment, planning and operation optimization; 3) smart grids and electric vehicles; 4) power system alarm processing, fault diagnosis and system restoration; 5) artificial intelligence applications in power and integrated energy systems. He has published 200+ SCI-indexed papers, 650+ EI-indexed papers, and 740+ Scopus-indexed papers. His publications have been cited for 16000+ times. He has completed and is undertaking more than 180 grants and projects from governmental organizations and industry. Prof Wen received many awards both at the national level and provincial level, including the most prestigious National Natural Science Award of China. He has been listed in "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" in seven consecutive years since 2015 by Elsevier, and is the author of one of the China's 100 Most Influential Domestic Academic Papers in 2016. Prof Wen is the editor-in-chief of Energy Conversion and Economics (SPERI, IET, Wiley), the deputy editor-in-chief of Journal of Automation of Electric Power Systems, a subject editor in power system economics of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution, associate editor of Journal of Energy Engineering and Journal of Modern Power Systems and Clean Energy.

Prof. Ruqiang Yan

IEEE Fellow, ASME Fellow

Ruqiang Yan is a Full Professor of the School of Mechanical Engineering, Xi’an Jiaotong University, China. His research interests include data analytics, AI, and energy-efficient sensing and sensor networks for the condition monitoring, fault diagnosis and prognosis of large-scale, complex, dynamical systems. Dr. Yan is a Fellow of IEEE (2022) and ASME (2019). His honors and awards include the IEEE Instrumentation and Measurement Society Technical Award in 2019 and multiple best paper awards. Dr. Yan is the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, an Associate Editor of the IEEE Sensors Journal, and Editorial Board Member of Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering.

Prof. Yaguo Lei

ASME Fellow, IET Fellow, IEEE Senior Member

Yaguo Lei, professor, doctoral supervisor. In 2002 and 2007, he received a bachelor's degree and a doctor's degree in mechanical engineering from Xi 'an Jiaotong University respectively. From 2008 to 2009, he did postdoctoral research in university of alberta. In 2010, he was hired as an associate professor of Xi 'an Jiaotong University. From 2012 to 2013, he worked as a Humboldt scholar at Duisburg-Essen University in Germany; In 2013, he was promoted to a professor. He was awarded the honor of "Advanced Individual in Teaching and Educating People" by Xi 'an Jiaotong University, "Star of Youth Science" by SCOPUS, cited scientist by Keruiwei Safety Ball, Humboldt scholar in Germany, "Outstanding Talent in the New Century" by the Ministry of Education, and winner of the May 4th Medal of Shaanxi Youth. Research interests: dynamic modeling of mechanical system, mechanical signal processing and analysis, intelligent fault diagnosis under big data, residual life prediction of mechanical equipment, health monitoring and maintenance decision of mechanical equipment.
